Whether it’s a phone call, an online order, a visit to a local store, or any other interaction with a company’s products or services, we value your input.
To ensure relevance, we encourage you to focus on recent experiences that have occurred within the past 12 months. While stories about purchasing a boombox in the 80s may be interesting, they are less pertinent for consumers seeking insights into today’s cutting-edge audio products. Sharing recent experiences allows readers to gain an understanding of a company’s current operations, while companies benefit from up-to-date feedback. Do not write fraudulent or biased reviews.
Do not fabricate experiences or write reviews on behalf of others; allow individuals to share their own reviews. Additionally, if you have a close association with, work for, or are in direct competition with a specific company, it is not appropriate for you to review it.
Receiving incentives to write, modify, or remove a review is strictly prohibited.
Keep evidence of your experience
Ensure you have documentation that substantiates your interaction with the company, such as a receipt, order confirmation, or a screenshot of your online chat. It may be necessary to verify your experience if requested.
Maintain a respectful demeanor
We expect all contributors to exhibit respectful behavior on our platform. Refrain from posting harmful, hateful, discriminatory, defamatory, or obscene content. Avoid lying, bullying, blackmailing, making threats, or engaging in any illegal activities.
Understanding defamation
Defining defamation precisely can be challenging. As a platform situated between consumers and businesses, we must strike a balance. While we encourage individuals to share their stories, both positive and negative, we are also obliged to remove statements and words that unjustly harm reputations or cause significant financial loss to a business.
Powerful reviews describe the events and allow readers to form their own conclusions.
We do not intervene in disputes regarding the specifics of interactions between reviewers and businesses. Review a Solicitor serves as a consumer review platform and not as a regulatory authority or a legal court.
Avoid promotional content
Keep your reviews focused on relevant aspects and refrain from including promotional references, marketing material, or links. Our platform is not intended for selling products, offering discount codes, organising action groups, or meeting like-minded individuals in your area.
Respect privacy
Please remember that your reviews are public. Consequently, it is not advisable to include sensitive or personal information about yourself or others. This includes names, phone numbers, addresses, email addresses, or any other details that could be exploited for tracking, identifying, contacting, or impersonating individuals. We prioritise the privacy and safety of both yourself and others and strive to ensure they are respected and protected.
Ensure accuracy when reviewing a solicitor firm
It is not uncommon for individuals to mistakenly leave a review intended for Company A on Company B’s profile page. Before posting your review, please double-check the company and country domain you are reviewing to avoid potential complications later on. Your user account
To post a review, you must have a user account. Similar to your first kiss, you only have one user account, which should represent a real person. While it is acceptable to write multiple reviews for a business based on multiple experiences, bombarding a business with excessive reviews is not helpful to anyone.
Flagging reviews
We greatly appreciate your assistance in protecting our platform by flagging problematic reviews, especially if you have evidence to support your concerns. Please flag a review only if you genuinely believe there is an issue and maintain fairness and consistency in your assessments.
Flagged reviews are reviewed by us to determine if they violate our guidelines. If a breach is identified, appropriate action will be taken.
Dealbreakers
While we value freedom of expression, certain content is not permissible. If a review is flagged for breaking our rules, we may temporarily hide it and request that you make necessary changes. We provide an opportunity for genuine reviews to align with our guidelines and remain on Review a Solicitor.
However, misuse of our platform can result in the removal of your reviews and/or the blocking or deletion of your account. If your account is deleted, your reviews will also be deleted. Additionally, our advanced software proactively identifies suspicious and fake reviews, which are promptly removed.
